Who we are
DJD Electrical Services LTD provides electrical services and operates the DJD Electrical Portal. For privacy questions, contact accounts@djdelectrical.co.uk.
Information we use
We use customer and supplier contact details, job addresses, quotations, invoices, receipts, certificates, work photographs and related communications only to manage electrical work, accounts, legal obligations and customer service.
Microsoft and QuickBooks connections
When the owner connects Microsoft 365 or QuickBooks Online, the portal uses authorised access only for the features the owner chooses. QuickBooks transfers require a deliberate approval in the portal. Connection tokens are kept private and are not shown to customers.
Owner-only home energy
If the owner connects Octopus Energy or Monta, the private EV workspace uses tariff, household-meter and charging-session data only to separate home and vehicle use and prepare private charging records. Credentials are encrypted, never displayed again and can be disconnected. This personal energy data is not added to customer files, Accounting, QuickBooks or business backups.
How information is protected
The business workspace is restricted to the authorised owner account. Hosted records and uploaded files are stored privately, connections use HTTPS, and recovery backups are protected. No online system is risk-free, so access is limited to what is necessary.
Sharing and retention
Information may be shared with service providers that host or deliver the portal, with Microsoft or Intuit when their connected features are used, and with professional advisers or authorities when legally required. Records are kept only for as long as needed for the work, accounting, tax, safety and legal purposes.
